So, what to say about myself? For starters I joined anime-planet just today, and I got an Internet connection just a week ago. I had a 5 year break from the all addicting mother of all networks :) And since this year I celebrate the 10th anniversary since I first came online, I had to get me a new connection :)And of course, the first thing I did when I got online was to get a torrent client and start searching for animes :)
Ah, Anime. Is it the diversity? Ranging from chilidsh fantasy, to deep space-operas, from humorous to serious, drammatic and tragic, from romance to action. Is it the quality of animation? The dialogs? The characters? The music? Don't know. Probably all of the above. I Just know I love them. Don't know when I fell in love with them. Or Which was the first anime I ever saw. It doesn't matter I think :)
I don't really like talking about myself. Not proud of the fact that I dropped out of college. Well, that probably has a lot to do that I'm from Rijeka, Croatia (you know, east of Italy, part of ex-Jugoslavia, ah well, use wikipedia :) ). I just didn't like the teachers, the system, everything. I made it through the first year of English language & literature and Computer science. And then I left. And now I'm looking for a job. Gotta buy me a new HDD :) Yeah, before university I finished elementary and high school in Italian language. We have a couple of Italian schools in Croatia.
Don't know what to say about music and movies. I know it's a cliche to say that I like everything, but it's almost true. Well, I don't like techno, modern rap and r&b (like the oldschool stuff though), silly pop and similar stuff. Love Jazz, mainly Fusion, all kinds of r&r, adore Zappa. My foobar playlist is a collection of obscure instrumentalist and bands :) Same goes for the movies. From comedy to drama, horror to tragedies, thrillers, action, everything. Especially love movies that portrey a segment of a persons life, you know, 3 months in somebodies life with no real plot :)
Ah yeah, I speak Croatian, English, Italian. Can understand some written French and I understand pretty well the South American Spanish (Spanish Spanish is a bit trickier :) ) and plan on learning them.
