Yeah it's not really how the heat is effecting us, it's more that everything is DEAD because our ecology is not built to cope with prolonged dry periods. I don't know whereabouts you're going, but around my way the river has dropped 3 inches and is covered in blue algae which hasn't happened for 30 years, it's fatal to most wildlife, the grass is yellow and dead, hedgerows look like you'd expect them to look at the end of November, trees are brittle and unhealthy when they should be at their absolute strongest, birds are fledging late and succumbing to predation that otherwise wouldn't happen if they fledged earlier in the year.
This island is currently fucked, and not Just politically anymore.
